HELPFUL TIPS
WEATHER
March is one of the best months to visit Sri Lanka - expect warm, sunny days around 25–32°C, with little rainfall and balmy evenings by the sea.
STAY & GUESTS
Can I bring a plus one?
Please note that as the hotel is limited to 30 guests - we can only accomodate who we have invited.
Are children welcome?
Children are welcome across the entire weekend and to stay at the hotel - please let us know and we can arrange for cots/extra beds to be brought in.
Until we receive final confirmation of RSVPs, we wont be able to know if we can accomodate nannies/grandparents in the hotel itself.
FOOD & DRINK
Expect fresh, local flavours alongside relaxed, elegant dining.
By the pool, you’ll find light bites, drinks, and snacks throughout the afternoon.
For the evening reception, we’ll move into a more formal dinner with seafood, fresh pastas, grilled dishes, and vegetarian options, followed by espresso martinis, sweet treats, and late-night snacks.
Across the weekend, there will be plenty of options for all tastes, as well as non-alcoholic drinks and children-friendly choices.
USEFUL INFO
If you are planning on holidaying before/after the wedding: Most places will accept USD $ (the hotel is USD $) but would suggest getting rupees to avoid “local” conversion rates.
If you usually get currency at the airport in Dubai, they don’t usually have SL rupees - so we would suggest getting currency before you fly.
ATMs are all over so getting cash out is super easy.
